*notes:* This is a very nice pesto, it has a very hearty taste, somehow reminiscent of a good bolognese. The flavours works very well together, balancing a hearty taste of a good tomato stew with a little bit of this deeply savoury flavour of parmesan right at the rind. It really is incredible what they managed to cram into a pesto under two euros. The flavour over all is a little less intense, meaning you will probably only get three servings out of it instead of the usual four for this size of glass, but that's still very reasonable for the price. The only points I docked are for the consistency, as I felt like it could have been a little bit smoother. But this really did not distract from the overall experience that this pesto provided.
